The PCMS Outreach Program strives to assist students and families who need a little extra help making ends meet. This is a confidential, behind-the-scenes, PCMS PTSA Program made possible through donations from PCMS parents and Issaquah Food Bank, as well as dedicated parent volunteers.

How does the Outreach Program Help?

Angel Donors – When PCMS identifies a student need, they reach out to the PTSA Outreach Director by requesting specific items to help the PCMS student and his/her family.  The Outreach Director then reaches out to parent volunteers who have signed up to be PCMS Outreach Angels.  Our generous PCMS Outreach Angels donate items and gift cards to help the struggling student.

Angel Closet – The PTSA works with our PCMS Outreach Angels to stock a toiletry closet so that the school can distribute personal hygiene items to our students as needed.

Gift Cards – Often times there are smaller student needs that are identified by PCMS staff.  In order to help with those needs immediately, the PCMS Outreach Angels provide the school with gift cards that they keep on hand.

Power Packs  – The PTSA works with PCMS and Issaquah Clothing Bank to provide a weekend bag of food to help end weekend hunger.  Power Packs are picked up from Issaquah Clothing Bank and delivered to PCMS on the 1st and 3rd Thursdays of each month.
