Three Cheers for Bond Passage!
Our Issaquah School District bond passed by 70%! This is wonderful accomplishment and reflects just how much this community supports our schools and children! The VIS team could not have done it without the dedication of PTSA parent volunteers that helped with the campaign. Parents spent their valuable time getting theword out via literature drops, mailings, signage, endorsements, donations, and our notorious Honk-and-Waves. A HUGE thank you to everyone that supported and voted for the bond in April!

Donor Dollars at Work
• The Foundation’s grant for iPads for special needs students is getting rave reviews. The iPads have numerous applications and in one case, even vocalizes for a student. You can see a video about the iPad program at the Nourish Every Mind Luncheon on May 10.

• Recently students at Liberty High School enjoyed a presentation by Facebook employees. Turns out, one of the employees was an ISD graduate who participated in Robotics at Issaquah High—a program funded in part for years by ISF donors.
