Washington State PTA recognizes local PTAs through its annual Awards of Excellence Program. At the Washington State PTA convention in April, the PCMS PTSA was awarded the Silver Level Standards of Excellence Award, recognizing our effective use of WSPTA best practices as a guide to be child-focused, responsible to members, knowledgeable, fiscally responsible, involved, and well-trained. Programs, communications, advocacy, budgets, financial reports, and board training were just some of the practices evaluated within the Standards of Excellence.
Every member of our PTSA board contributed to the receipt of this award. Thank you, board members, for all your efforts for our school and for running an award-winning PTSA organization!
